Obituary of Vivian H. Ricketts
Vivian Higgins Ricketts, of Collegeville,pa. Vivian left this world, surrounded by loved ones at home, on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was 80 years old.
Legacy
Vivian was a kind and selfless woman with a heart of gold. She was devoted to caring for and loving her family. She was a lover of music and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Conway Twitty. Born In Philadelphia, she is the daughter of the late Webster and Mary Higgins. Vivian graduated from West Catholic High school for girls in 1958. She developed a love for water skiing in her younger years and kept close with her childhood girlfriends throughout her life. In the early 1970’s, Vivian lived in, and was curator of The Morris House, AKA the Germantown Whitehouse, which twice housed George Washington. Through the years, her other hobbies included cooking, sewing, technology, scenic sunday drives, taking lots of photos and her love of cats. She will be remembered for her generosity, her kind heart and quick witted sense of humor.
Family
She leaves behind her a legacy of 4 children, Karolyn (Jimmy) Sarsfield, Beth Maginnis (Michael) Andrew (Jamie) Maginnis and Jennifer (Anthony) Muto. A treasure of 8 grandchildren, Ashley (her Pickle), Michael, Dominic, KaraBeth, Jack, Stella, Madison and Maximus, as well as one great grandson, Michael.
