Obituary of Peggy Charlene Kemp

Peggy Charlene Kemp, 88, of South Jersey area, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, with her loving family at her side.
 
Legacy
Born in Cookeville, Tennessee, Peggy was a resident of the South Jersey area for 29 years.  She was devout Christian, filled with faith, who loved the Lord.  Peggy was funny, compassionate, sensitive and straight forward.  Her love for you was open and honest.  Peggy loved to bake and cook and she was a wonderful hostess for holiday gatherings.  In Peggy's spare time, she enjoyed traveling, sewing and playing Scrabble and Chinese Checkers.  Peggy touched the lives of more people than she knew.
 
Family
Beloved wife of the late Burnice E. Kemp; devoted mother of Michael E.; Randall S. "Steve", Larry W., Sissel M. (John) Salayda, Dana J. (Mark) Ott and the late Deborah C. Cope and Karen K. Coe; loving grandmother of 29, great grandmother 40 and  great great grandmother of 2; dear sister of Terry H. (Peggy) Mahler, Belinda (Robert) Bailey, Brenda Mahler and the late Jimmy Mahler.  Peggy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peggy's viewing on Monday, April 26, 2021, 9:00  -  11:00 AM at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment at Gloucester County Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
