Obituary of Joseph Thomas Aschenbrenner, Sr.

Joseph Thomas Aschenbrenner, Sr. of Gibbstown, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.  He was 77.

Legacy

Born in Woodbury and raised in Gibbstown, Joseph served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his service time, Joseph returned home and worked for the City of Woodbury in the Public Works Department for many years until his retirement.

Away from work, Joseph enjoyed spending time outdoors embracing the beauty of nature and he was an avid fisherman.  He loved spending time with family especially with his beloved grandchildren.  Joe will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family

Joseph is the beloved father of Joseph T. Aschenbrenner, Jr. (Shannon); loving grandfather of Ava, Joseph, III, Mia & Jacob Aschenbrenner; dear brother of Joyce Freas (Robert), John (Deborah)  and James (Deborah) Aschenbrenner.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joseph's Graveside Ceremony with Military Honors on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:30 in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ.
