Obituary of Harold L. Braidwood
Harold Lee Braidwood, of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021. He was 75.
Legacy
Born in 1945, Lee grew up in Glassboro, NJ where he graduated from Glassboro High School, Class of 1963. In 1969, he graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. While attending Drexel, he began an internship with Acme Markets as a Programmer which he turned into his full time career until he retired in 2001 as a Manager of Systems Development.
Lee was an active member in the Jaycees on the local, regional and state levels. He was an avid softball player in both Glassboro and Washington Twp. men's softball leagues for many years. Lee's greatest passion was dedicating his time and faith to the Church of the Good Shepherd where he served as treasurer, member of the vestry, lay reader, and organizer of the annual Holly Fair.
To Lee, nothing was more important in life than family. He was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his annual summer vacations with family in Ocean City, NJ, where he was usually found in the kitchen making breakfast each morning or post-beach appetizers. He regularly enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events.
Lee was never one to turn down an opportunity to lend a hand to anyone when needed.
Family
He is the beloved husband to Patricia Braidwood (nee Owens); devoted father of Scott E. Braidwood (Amy), Daniel J. Braidwood (Marialaina), Kelly M. Froio (Michael) an Kristin L.
