Obituary of Sabbia D. DiTomaso
Sabbia D. DiTomaso (nee Storace), known to everyone as Minnie, of Mantua, New Jersey, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was 87.
Legacy
Belovedly known as "Mom", "Grandmom", and "Aunt Minnie" by many. Minnie was a generous soul that was devoted to her son, grandchildren and a constant force to 10 siblings. She was always putting others needs before her own. Minnie worked as a seamstress for H&J Nalibotsky Dress Co. in Philadelphia, PA for numerous years, but ultimately served as a caretaker and nanny for the children of several families that she cared for as her own. She was truly a one-of-a-kind woman and a perpetual presence in the lives of many.
Socially, she enjoyed taking trips to the casinos, attending Broadway shows and participating in events held at the Gloucester County Senior Center, where she made extensive friendships and served in the Women's Club year after year. Minnie was a devout Catholic and a 40 year member of St. Margaret's Church, where she attended mass routinely. She looked forward to the Christmas Bazaar held at the church every year, and incessantly donated to countless Catholic charities and ministries. She was humble, true and honest in every endeavor. She will be sorely missed by all.
Family
Minnie is the beloved wife of late Domenic; devoted mother of Richard DiTomaso; loving grandmother to Marisa DiTomaso and Joseph DiTomaso. She is also survived by her many dear friends and family.
