Obituary of Theresa Genniro

Theresa Genniro, of Mantua, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021.  She was 89.

 Legacy
A selfless and giving woman, Theresa devoted her life to caring for others.  She was a natural born leader and a role model for many.  Always there to help those in need with no judgement,  Theresa would go without so that others could have.  She was surely a beautiful soul, inside and out.  

Theresa was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended South Philadelphia High School.  Theresa dedicated over 15 years with Fiesta Caterers in Philadelphia as a Banquet Waitress.  After retirement, she continued giving her love and time by being a nanny for 4 lucky families whom she loved like her own.  Theresa was also a exceptional listener.  She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, socializing and shopping, whether it was window shopping or finding treasures at the local flea markets.  She adored babies and was an animal lover.

 
Family
She is the beloved Wife of the late Louis Genniro; devoted mother of Lisa Stone (Peter) and Maria Morrone (James); dear sister to the late James Scully (Rita); loving grandmother to Amy Stone, Robert Stone, Theresa Morrone, Emily Stone and James C. Morrone; cherished godmother to Theresa Chambers.  Theresa is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
