Obituary of Elene Joan Knapp

Elene Joan Knapp, 73, of West Deptford, New Jersey passed away peacefully on June 14, 2021, surrounded by family and friends.

Legacy

Elene was also known as Ellie to her friends and Auntie to her family. Auntie was a small woman in stature but left a huge impact on so many people.  Auntie enjoyed sewing and trips with her friends to Lancaster to find the perfect fabric. She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews who were her "Children". Auntie was the daughter of late James and Goldie Knapp, and sister to Joseph (spouse Melody) and late James (spouse late Norma Jean). Her longtime companion Ron Burnheimer. She is loved and cherished by her niece Kathy (spouse Bill) Whildon her nephew Joe (companion Julie) and Rob (spouse Michelle), Jimmy (spouse Yolanda) Knapp. She will be greatly missed by her great nieces Alayna, Casie, Autumn, Bella, Alysha and her great nephew Robert Jr.

Our special Auntie, it takes many special qualities to make an Aunt like you, A lot of care and Kindness and understanding, too…. It takes a special kind of love that seems to know no end and the thoughtfulness and patience of a true and trusted friend…. It takes many special qualities to make an Auntie like you, and that is why you are loved so much all the days through

Farewell Tribute

Friends and Family are invited to a Graveside Service to honor Auntie’s Memory at Hillcrest Memorial Park 500 Delsea Dr Sewell at 10am on Friday, July 16, 202.

In lieu of flowers checks made out to Gilda's Club South Jersey will be collected and donated in Auntie's Name, to help others with Cancer.700 New Road, Linwood, NJ 080221-(Donate Now).
