Obituary of Roseann T. Zweir

Roseann T. Zweir, (nee Read) of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

She was aged 89 years.

Legacy

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Roseann graduated from Nazareth Academy and soon after she met a young man by the name of George Zweir. They fell in love, were blessed with four children, and together they shared 49 years of marriage before his passing in 2005.

Roseann was smart, ambitious, and ahead of her time. After her children were grown, she founded Annz Insurance Agency at a period in history when women-owned businesses were exceedingly rare. Roseann also loved Cape May as well as Sarasota, Florida and had wonderful times there. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and creating memories they will always cherish as her legacy.

She will be remembered as a kind, caring, loving, and devout Christian woman who prayed for everyone and whose greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.

Roseann is the beloved wife of the late George Zweir; loving mother of Roseann (Patrick) Coyle, George (Holly) Zweir, Joanne (Bruce) Pawling & Bill Zweir and her beloved little dog Chloe; cherished grandmother of Amber Browning-Coyle, Michael (Casey) DePietropolo, Andrew (Lindsay) Coyle, Amanda (David) Heritage, Alyssa (William) Eberwein, Kristen Pawling, Bryan (Shannon) Pawling, & Matthew Pawling; great grandmother of Lily, McKayla & Cassidy Pawling, Wyatt Coyle & Dylan Asher; dear sister of the late William Read, Harry Read, Margaret Fahy & Louise Brown.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday evening 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Wednesday morning 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Her Funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Holy Angels Parish at St. Matthew R. C. Church, 4th & Monument Street, National Park, NJ. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
