Dear Bernadette and Family: I just found out about the passing of Paul today. It was just very shocking to me to learn of this news. Paul and I were very best friends growing up as we played baseball with and against each other with strong competition and what we enjoyed most together was going to music school to learn our instruments. Paul as a bass player and I (Tim) played on the drums. We did so many things together in our young lives that I still remember back in our youth days. As Paul and I had more experience, in our instruments, our band joined the USO show that we performed at McGuire AirForce Base and Fort Dix many times.
My family and I sincerely send our thoughts and prayers to your family.
REST IN PEACE
MY BEST FRIEND PAUL

Dear Bernadette and family,
I knew Paul professionally for about 20 years through my career with the Gloucester County Division of Senior Services. Paul was very knowledgeable in Veteran, Senior, and many other related issues and always able lend a helping hand. Above all he was the most reserved and most compassionate gentleman that anyone could ever hope to meet. His knowledge and compassion will be sorely missed by the many organizations and people of Gloucester County that he loved and served so well for so many years

It was an honor to know Paul these last few years. I had the privilege of working with the Blackstock family in developing People for People's Camp Salute site. To get to see Paul's passion when it came to giving back to the Veteran's community was truly something to behold. He will be missed, but his mark will live on through the continued service of People for People.

Bernadette and Family: I am soooo very sorry to hear about Paul. He was truly one of the kindest, caring, most generous men I had the pleasure to work with when I with Migrant/Homeless Education Program. He called me for several years to let me know that he had tons of coats and socks to donate to our program. We would be in the cold storage units for hours going through all the donations. He helped so, so many people who were down on their luck. But, my favorite time of year was Christmas when your organization would host the Breakfast with Santa at Auletto's. He was such a selfless man who always talked about his beloved wife and family. He will truly be missed by so many!!! May God Bless you and your family and help you maintain the strength you will need during this sad time. My prayers, love and hugs are being sent your way. He was a true Angel on Earth!!! Rest in Peace my friend! Kathleen Alves

Bernadette, Jennifer, and Stephanie:
I can't believe that Paul is not here anymore. My heart is breaking for the entire family, including our People for People family, and also selfishly for me. We will miss him immeasurably. He had a way about him that made you like him instantly. Whatever he could do for you, he would. And if he couldn't, he would find somebody that could. Listen to the words of the song "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" by the Hollies. I heard that today on the radio while thinking of Paul. I think it fits him very well. We will never forget all he did for others. The gates of Heaven have opened wide to receive him, and the Lord has him in the palm of His hand now, and I know his dad is telling him how very proud he is of him. Until we meet again, dear Paul......
Love, Janis and Chuck Adams

My deepest condolences to the Blackstock family, friends, and community they helped so much and served with full hearts. I'm so sorry I never got the opportunity to meet Mr. Blackstock in person, but his giving, caring, and generous reputation proceeds him. I stand in awe of the tireless efforts Mr. Blackstock and his family have contributed to the community and families in need of help, especially our veterans. May you take comfort in knowing how many people you selflessly helped through the years. The community is morning your passing, a truly tremendous loss. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do for our community.

Roy Lane and I are so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. We are so grateful and blessed to know him and Bernadette through the help of their knowledge of helping Roy with his VA. But as the time went by and getting to know Paul, we found a true friend. A man that would joke about my hippie days and enjoyed visiting a man with such a kind Heart ❤️. So RIP our friend we know you’re with the Lord and reunited with many friends and family. You will not be forgotten! Sending prayers to Bernadette and family for comfort during this time. Thanks Paul for all you’ve done. Roy and Helen Lane

Paul was a true friend to many. He cared about everyone and always took the time to call for a “buddy check” especially during COVID. He always had an entertaining story that would make you laugh or an important update for great work People for People foundation was doing for the community. He dearly loved his family and beamed whenever he spoke about them. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Love,
Chuck and Helen Antonucci

I just cry when I see this picture of Paul - such a wonderful husband, dad, granddad and helper to all in need. Yes, he absolutely adored his wife, Bernadette and never stopped sharing accolades which I absolutely loved to see and read even up one of his very recent postings. Yes, Paul loved to share stories and I feel so blessed to be a recipient of his many touching stories when he would sit in my office inquiring as to how our clients were doing since PFP helped many of them. I feel so touched that he always referred to me as his PITA ( Pain in the —-) since I so often asked for help for my clients. It became a joke between us. He and Bernadette always responded and helped. We also shared a special bond in that my husband and I shared times together for meals, Touch a Truck and other fund raising activities. Paul cared so much and gave so much to all. Bernadette, you and Paul were/are an inspiration to all of us. You were / are a SUPER POWER COUPLE! We love you and are here for you. With so much love, care and support. Jeannie and Bob
