Obituary of John Singiser

John T. Singiser, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021.  He was 88.
 
Legacy

After John's time in the Merchant Marines, he started his career at PECO as a meter reader.  He transferred to the Delaware Generating Station as a plant operator.  He furthered his career to the highest level, Shift Supervisor, and retired after 35 years of service. 
John lived a full life.  He worked hard to support and provide for his loving family, and enjoyed every ounce of his free time.  He loved being the center of attention and was always telling jokes, be it at home or at the bar with his friends and family.
He had a big heart and was a Board Member of the ARC of Gloucester for many years.  He was one of the founders for ARC's "Camp Sun and Fun".

 
Family

He is the beloved husband of 55 years to the late Gladys (nee: Higman); devoted father John Singiser (Vilma), Gladys Nay (Louis), Stephen Singiser (Maureen), Joseph Singiser  (Kemeisha) and the late Robert Singiser & Donna Thomasson; loving brother of Daniel Murphy and the late Dorothy Kubis, George Murphy & Thomas Murphy; cherished grandfather of 13 and 6 great-grandchildren.
