Elizabeth Cary

Obituary of Elizabeth A. Cary

Elizabeth A. Cary, 65, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Legacy

Born in Cape May Court House, Beth was a longtime resident of West Deptford, New Jersey an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights.  Beth was an outstanding vascular nurse who was V.A.C.C and chemo certified.  She was an employee of Underwood Hospital, now Inspira, and most recently, Trident Care.  With Beth's caring and compassionate nature, she was destined to be a nurse; she went above and beyond for her patients and was so much more than a nurse.

As accomplished as Beth was as a nurse, her greatest title was "Mom."  Her children were her world and she devoted her life to them.  Nothing was more important than time spent with her family.  Her children looked up to her and considered Beth their best friend.   Many treasured memories were made with family and friends at one of her favorite places, the lake house in Maine or the Shenandoah Mountains.

Generous, loving and nurturing, Beth was loved by all who knew her.   Those who were lucky enough to have Beth in their lives were truly blessed.  Her bright personality lit up a room and you were always greeted with her special wave.  Beth always thought of others first and never asked or expected anything in return.

In her spare time, Beth loved music and played alto sax.  Beth was known for her green thumb and her flower beds were a picture of color and beauty.  Her collection of fairies is spread throughout her home and a constant reminder of Beth’s love for them.  Beth had a way of making those she loved feel extra special and enjoyed sharing friendship bread with family and friends. Beth will be missed by all who knew her, including her furry pals, Rose, Daisy, Hibiscus and Lily.
