Madeline Voll

Obituary of Madeline Elizabeth Voll

Madeline Elizabeth Voll (nee Nickel) passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the age of 71. Born in Ridley Park, PA, Madeline was the beloved wife of Paul, with whom she shared almost 50 years of marriage. She lived in Washington Township, NJ, and most recently in Wildwood, NJ.

Madeline worked at PECO after graduating from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA.  After leaving to raise two wonderful sons, she spent over 20 years working at Rite Aid in both Sewell and Woodbury - where she established herself as a treasured colleague and friend of all.

Always the life of the party, Madeline enjoyed live music, restaurants, boating, and spending time with her friends and family. Madeline had a kind and gentle heart. She loved animals (especially her standard poodles and a menagerie of cats, both hers and those that wanted to be), Bon Jovi, driving in convertibles, and spaghetti. Despite her Irish roots, Madeline made a mean gravy.

Madeline is survived by sons, Jason (Erica) and Jared (Maureen), and grandchildren, Beatrice, Jackson, Edward, and Colin. She was predeceased by her mother (Edna) and father (Bill “Nick”), and siblings Aileen and Billy.

Thank you to all who loved Madeline. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.

A Celebration of Life service will be celebrated at a future date.
