Obituary of Lloyd Richard Bireley, Jr.

Lloyd Richard "Rich" Bireley, Jr., 73, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring companion, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Rich was a Vietnam veteran and a proud member of the United States Army. He was known as a skilled lifelong musician in Quaker City String Band for almost 50 years. He was a man of many talents who enjoyed playing a variety of instruments, woodworking, taxidermy, artistry, tattooing, gardening, crabbing and he loved everything about nature.

Family

He is the loving Fiance' of Mary Carr. Devoted father of Dawn Bireley (Jason), Tina Wojciechowski (Brian), and Charles Bireley, Corrin Bireley (Ryan) and Ashley Bireley (Gerard). Treasured grandfather of Daniel, Gianna, Michael, R. Jeffrey, Brian, Ava Zahira and the late Brooke. Adored great grandfather of Lucas. Son of the late Janet and Lloyd Richard Bireley, Sr. Dear brother of Patti Bireley-Savage. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, September 30th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Friday, October 1st from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home-(Washington Twp. Location) 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery Williamstown, NJ.
