Obituary of Leila Mancini

Leila Mancini (nee Grossman), 83, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
 
Legacy
Born and raised in London England, Leila came to the United States when she was 25.  Leila was a jack of all trades and worked in such areas as real estate, collections and worked alongside her husband, Pat, as an optician.

A loyal, loving and funny lady, Leila was devoted to her family and her Jewish faith.  She was witty and bright and had a smile and laugh that was contagious.  She loved music and dancing and you could bet that Leila would be the first one out on the dance floor, coaxing others to join her.  Leila also enjoyed crossword puzzles, doodling and tending to her garden.  She often took her chances at the casinos, especially the slot machines.  Outdoor activities, such as biking and swimming often brought her children and grandchildren together to enjoy.  Leila's easy going, compassionate and forgiving nature was felt by all those who loved her.   
 
Family
Beloved wife of the late Dr. Pasquale Mancini; devoted mother of Melissa (Christopher) Lomanno,  Alysia (Jason) Farina, Marc (Maggie) Mancini, Matthew (Candy) Mancini and the late Nicole Touhill; cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Nick, Anthony, Cooper, Giovanni, Aiden, Malena, Mary, Kingston, Neysa, Liam, Lucian and Eliana; dear sister of the late Stanley Grossman, Nita Capal and John Grossman; devoted aunt of Barry (Hazel) Capal, Stephen Capal, Dean Grossman, Benny Grossman and their children.   Leila is also survived by her canine pal, Buddy.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Leila's Graveside Service on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 10:00 AM at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ  08020.   Due to the recent increase of the variant of COVID, even outside, please maintain a safe social distance.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Leila's name to Save the Elephants at www.savetheelephants.org.
