Obituary of Nicholas M. Liparota

Nicholas M. Liparota, 35, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

Legacy
A thoughtful, loving and funny guy, Nick was a genuine people person and his giving nature was evident in the way he always put others needs before his own.   He was devoted to his family and especially adored his nephews, nieces and god-children, who he always made time for.  Nick was the definition of larger than life and packed so much enthusiasm and “sparkle” into every minute of the day.  His contagious laugh, sense of style and smile lit up every room he entered.  He truly was the life of the party.
Nick loved to experiment, whether it be with a new cuisine no one else was brave enough to try, or one of his creations he was trying to patent, such as tanning lotion made from coffee grounds and iodine.  He was also an animal lover and at one time or another owned ferrets, a hedgehog, dogs, a chameleon and bunnies, but the line was drawn when he asked for a penguin, goat and capuchin monkey.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Nick was a resident of Glassboro for 20 years and graduated from Gloucester Catholic.  Nick was most recognizable behind the bar at Voyeur, Dolphin and most recently, Concourse.  He was a natural entertainer, a true unicorn with his magnetic personality. People were drawn to him, and he left an indelible mark on so many lives.

Family
Beloved son of Ernest and Kathleen (nee Bell) Liparota; loving brother of Mark and his wife, Sissy; cherished uncle of Cole and Harper;  beloved godfather; Nick is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nick's viewing on Thursday, October 14, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080 and will be followed by his Funeral Ceremony at 12:00 PM.
