My Condolences The Entire Family. My Thoughts And prayers Are With Each Of You.
I was blessed to work under the supervision of Cass, at the ARC, Pennsauken Center for fifteen years. She will always be that one special person who comes into your life, and changes your soul forever. Her wisdom, innate selfless soul and her gentle being changed my life forever. Cass told me that I had a God given talent to work with challenging behavior individuals. She encouraged me to go back to school and pursue my degree in special education. I went back to college and graduated 10 years later, because of her believing in me, and in my ability to work with those developmentally delayed individuals with challenging traits. Cass loved her staff, her children, grand children and great grand children and her life long partner, Sandy. Cass mentioned to me, She said, Laurie, Try and see who you are, as I see who you are. believe in yourself.
I will forever pay it forward and keep Cass's Memory alive and help others the way she helped many of us. Cass said to me one day, you can not solve every problem in the world, but you can solve each problem that your passion and desire, one step at a time.
My heart will always hold a special place reserved for Cass, my love for her shall live on, just as her love for me shall live on. I will forever be grateful, blessed and humbled because of how Cass Ford Loved me, believed in me, lastly how she changed my entire being and touched my soul as to shape my core being.
Cass, I hope to see you on the other side, and have many chats of the yesterdays gone bye.
Between now and then, Until we meet again, I will be Loving You.
