Obituary of Phyllis Scafide

Phyllis Scafide, (nee Logan) of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was aged 60 years. Legacy Born and raised in Philadelphia; Phyllis met a man by the name of James Scafide on New Years Eve 1981 and less than a year later they were happily married. She and James shared 38 years of marriage and raised 5 children that complimented their love story. Phyllis will be remembered as a loving, sweet woman who had a heart of gold. Her kitchen was the heart of her home. She loved cooking and baking for her family. Phyllis' pizzelles, Meatloaf, Baked Chicken and Mac & Cheese were favorites among her family. Phyllis loved nature, taking long walks, photography and most of all; spending time with her family creating memories that will be cherished as her legacy. Family She is the beloved wife of James Scafide, Sr.; loving mother of Phyllis (Peter) Nehra; John (Heather) Scafide, James (Jillian) Scafide, Jr, Lisa Scafide & Lynda (Nicholas) Alloway; cherished grandmother of Nicholas & Nolan Alloway; dear sister of Harry Logan, Diane Mooney & Janet Logan; adoring daughter of Mildred Levchenco & the late Harry Logan. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Phyllis' visitation after 5PM Monday, October 25, 2021 in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where her Memorial Ceremony will follow at 7 PM.
