Catherine Walter

Catherine “Maemae” Walter (nee Plotts), 77, of National Park, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Legacy

Born in Woodbury, New Jersey, Catherine was a resident of Glassboro and National Park for most of her life.  Prior to retiring in 2014, Catherine was a fresh food manager at WaWa for many years. 

A generous and thoughtful woman, Catherine had a good heart.  Catherine was not only a mother to her children, but also had a hand in raising her grandchildren.  She always made sure that the children never went without...even if she had to.  Catherine also donated to many charities that dealt with children and animals.  She enjoyed dinner out with friends, spending time with her nieces and nephews and shopping.  Catherine loved to tend to her plants and flowers and her home was filled with her collectibles of frogs and teapots.  

Family

Devoted mother of Vickie Turner, Rita Pasquarelli and William Daisey; cherished grandmother of Chris and Dawn Marie and great grandmother of Serenity and Drew. Loving daughter of the late William and Catherine (nee Hull) Plotts; dear sister of Terry Parker-Davis and the late William, Jr. and George Plotts.  Catherine is also survived by her godsons, Christopher, Chase, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to Catherine's Graveside Ceremony on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Catherine's name to a charity of the donor's choice that will assist children or animals.
