Obituary of Joseph Weber, Jr.
Joseph Weber, Jr., of Paulsboro, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. He was 85.
Legacy
Born and raised in Philadelphia; Joe enlisted and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. During his service time in England, Joe met and married Blanche Irene Hutley. Together they shared 50 years of marriage and were blessed with three children that complimented their love story.
Joe worked for Connelly Containers as a Maintenance Mechanic for more than 40 years until his retirement in 2001. Away from work, Joe enjoyed weekend getaways and family vacations at Belhaven Lake Resort for more than 45 years where countless memories were made and forever friendships were fostered. Joe loved fishing and woodworking creating crafts and furniture for his family and friends.
Joe will be remembered as a hard working, loving and devoted husband, father, and friend that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family
Joe is the beloved husband of the late Blanche Irene (nee Hutley) Devoted father of Joseph (Betty Ann), Linda Marie and Charles Paul; Loving Grandfather of Gary (Christin), Dusty (Charles) and Great Grandfather of Jason, Kayla, Hailey & Lily; dear brother of Elizabeth Golightly and the late Theodore Weber.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joe's viewing on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 after 11:30 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1 PM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, (Monroe Twp.) . In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Joe's memory made to the Army Navy Union Garrison No. 52; 26 Riverview Avenue, National Park, NJ 08063. Joe was a long time member of the Garrison for many years; visiting frequently; where friendships were fostered and connections and memories were made among the comrades and members.
