Obituary of Jovan K. Austin

Jovan K. Austin, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was 26.

Legacy

Born in Camden and raised in Washington Twp., Jovan graduated from G.C. I. T. with a specialization in Automotive Technology and worked as an Automotive Technician with Mavis Tire in Blackwood.

Away from work, Jovan enjoyed martial arts where he excelled and earned his Black Belt. He enjoyed skateboarding and was an accomplished guitarist. Jovan will be remembered as a bright young man with a heart of gold who would give the shirt off his back.

Most of all, Jovan enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Samara creating memories that will be cherished as his legacy.

Family

He is the beloved father of Samara Aerith Austin; dear son of Juan (Elizabeth) and the late Tina Martinez~Cruz; loving brother of Tiffany Cruz- Lee and Samuel Cruz; cherished nephew of Carlos Cruz, Angel Cruz and a host of additional loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, December 8, 2021; 5- 7PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. where Words of Remembrance will follow at 7 PM. Interment Thursday 10 AM in Morgan Cemetery, 1100 Cinnaminson Avenue, Cinnaminson, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for an educational fund to be established for Jovan's daughter, Samara; so that she may have the best opportunity available as she grows.
