Obituary of Matilde Soto

Matilde Soto, age 89,  passed away peacefully on Dec 10,2021, at her daughter's home in Blackwood, NJ.

 

Legacy

She was born in Camuy, PR to her parents Julio and Inez Velez. She prayed for happiness, health, and prosperity for her children. She was a music lover, believed in traditions, family values, a foodie, and believed in God. We are so thankful and blessed to have had a loving and protective mother like you. You were strong to the very end. An angel has entered into heaven. Until we meet again, rest in peace Mom. Amen. You will be so truly missed. We love you.

 

Family

She is survived by her son Frank "Paquito" Soto, daughters Sonia Soto, Gloria "Gory" Cordero, Matilda "Matty" Cordero, Elisette "Ellie" Nelson, Rosa "Rosie" De Soto; and her 19 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren. Family, friends, and other people whose lives Matilde touched.
