Obituary of Patricia Ann Peterson

Patricia Ann Peterson, (nee Norkis) of Georgetown, Delaware, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was 59.

Legacy

Patty or Trish, as she was affectionately known, had a love for her job as the manager of the cafeteria at Fred Douglas School in Seaford. She loved it so much she was awarded “Manager of the year” for the entire state of Delaware. The kids and staff at Fred were not only students and colleagues but she considered them family and friends.

Not only did she love her job but her family and friends meant the world to her. One of her favorite days of the year was New Years day on 2 street watching her son and family march in the mummers parade. With almost the whole family there celebrating the New Year she was the happiest.

Family

Patty is the beloved mother of Anthony Glaudel; loving sister of Bill (Lyn) Norkis, Kathy (the late Al) Klinger & Dottie (John) Coxe; honorary mother of Kristiney (Jon) Reichelderfer; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is predeceased by her father William Norkis; Mother Dorothy Clarke, Stepfather William Clarke; and Brother-n-law Allen Klinger.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday after 9 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME,34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ where her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patty's memory may be made to Miss Trish Memorial Bench Fund which will fund a Memorial Bench at the Frederick Douglas School in her memory
