my mother Barbara had the most beautiful soul a person could truly have. She was never afraid of getting to heaven, she dreamed of this beautiful place of love peace and serenity. I know she is now at peace. She showed me through actions with pure intentions that "doing gods work" was taking care of his people. God didnt want perfect, his solders were troubled. Gods work comes with a lot of trials and tribulations and My mom had some stories. Life wasnt always easy but she NEVER LOST HER FAITH. i dont know why i lost her but i dont try too i just know i loved her and will carry her through the many more years i am blessed to live continuing the "work" she left behind. Mommy one day i will see you again. MY EVERYTHING I AM SO LOST I LOVE YOU IM SORRY

I enjoyed working with Barb for many, many years. We always shared our faith and had many long chats in her office about our kids! She truly loved life. Barb you will be missed! May your family always remember your memories in their heart. And have peace!

The church family of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of West Deptford is mourning our loss along with Barbara Jean's family and friends. For so many years she has been such an invaluable contributor to the children of our church as a Sunday School teacher in addition to just being a regular presence in worship. As pastor, I can still see her seated with the loving woman who raised her, Lillian Quillen, during Sunday morning worship services. Our church family has been looking forward to a time in the future when we can all gather together and I know our members were looking forward to again seeing Barbara Jean's smile amongst all of us. I write this on behalf of many church members who have spoken to me at their shock and sadness at Barbara Jean's passing. We are thankful for her faith ... many young people's faith walk was created through her teaching ... we praise God for God's love that promises us a home once our time here is complete.
