I lived on Lynn Drive one house away from the Harbesons. It was a great neighborhood to grow up in. The kids all got along and were always riding bikes in the Alamo or to Hill's deli. We played ball in Mauck's field and street football. When it got dark and it was time to come home you would hear Mr. Harbeson calling "Jimmy Mike!"
Jim had a big heart and loved to have a good time. We lost touch when we moved out of the neighborhood, but when we would see each other around town, it was always followed by a warm handshake and a hug.
We are all going to miss Jimmy Mike.
Randy Reitz
