Nicholas Falciani, Jr.

Obituary of Nicholas Thomas Falciani, Jr.

Nicholas Thomas Falciani, Jr., 56, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022, with his devoted family by his side.

Legacy

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Washington Township, New Jersey, Nick still lives in his childhood home that he shares with his Husband, Jonathan.   Their life together of 33 years was one of trust, nurturing and true love.  They met at a mutual friend’s house party and Jonathan slipped his number into Nick’s pocket. After a rough start to a first date, Nick’s way of apologizing was by sending one simple yellow rose…and for Jonathan, that sealed the deal.  They have not been apart since.  Their little unit was made merrier with the addition of their mini schnauzer, Bently; he completed their happy family.  They had a relationship like many others and they never went to bed angry.  Bedtime conversation always ended with Jon saying “I Love You” and Nick replying “ I Love You more.  Ever Thine, Ever Mine, Ever Ours…it is what their relationship was built upon. Trips to bed and breakfast nooks in Nantucket and Salem, exploring the New England countryside are treasured memories.

In 1986, Nick received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Architectural Design from the University of the Arts.  Later, he joined IEI Group in Philadelphia.  There, he applied his architectural and office design skills, and dedicated his work to longtime clients like PECO and Aramark.  Nick spent 33 years at IEI, earning Principal level status.  His employer, Rosemary Espanol was incredibly supportive and loving.  His fellow colleagues considered him a great mentor and a dear friend.

A loving and genuine guy, Nick was a true gentleman, in every sense of the word.  He had a generous heart and was always there for others.  Nick liked the finer things in life; fine dining, the arts and theater.  Anyone who knew Nick also knew that he loved to shop.  His favorite group was Amazon Prime and Nick and Bently were on a first name basis with the Amazon delivery man.  These little quirks and stories are the reason that Nick was loved by so many and will be sadly missed.

Family

Beloved and cherished husband of Jonathan Kerr; devoted fur daddy to Bently; loving son of the late Nicholas T., Sr. and Marguerite (nee LaRocca).  Nicholas is survived by his very special dear family and friends.
