We met in 1961. To have a friendship that spanned so many decades is extraordinary. We just "fit" as best friends. She touched my life in so many ways. It was easy being friends with Sue. Of course, we had disagreements over all those years, but nothing that eclipsed the joy that our friendship gave to each other.
She always made me feel that she had three sisters.
Tony became her friend and shared 53 years of friendship, becoming his "second wife."
Whenever I see the color pink, drink a cup of tea, buy a pair of shoes, decorate a Christmas tree, or eat Chinese food, she will be there reminding me of what we shared. I could list a million other things that will never leave my memory.
I will be eternally grateful that she came my way. She was the best part of "my best friend."
Kathy
