Obituary of Susan Sweetman
Susan Gail Sweetman, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the age of 65..
Legacy
Sue loved living her life. She was more adventurous than the average person and was passionate about sky diving, to say the least. She spent a good portion of her adult life traveling around the country doing what she loved: Making friends, having fun and parachuting out of planes. She was a staple in her skydiving community and was a well respected and talented friend to her piers. Sue was part of the United Parachute Association and was a license D holder. Some of her accomplishments are the 181-Way Women's World Record in 2004 (Which she still holds today), 66-Way P.A. State Record in 1992, USPA 1,000 Jumps Wings 1984, USPA 2,000 Jumps Wings, 1984, USPA 3,000 Jumps Wings 1996 and USPA 4 Way Bronze metal and 8 Way Silver & Gold metals.
Adventure followed Sue. Her laugh, giggle and unique personality made her part of the loving, caring, passionate woman she was. She truly lived her life and made many friends along the way. Some would say you can tell her personality by the way she dressed, always vibrant and fun, she was never without her signature bandanna and tie-dye! She was an honest daughter, sister, "Crazy Aunt Sue" and friend to all who knew her and will be sorely missed by all.
Susan worked as a computer systems programmer for the State of New Jersey and retired 7 years ago. When she wasn't working or skydiving, she would be found either at Philadelphia Flyers games or watching the games on T.V., she never missed a game!
