Obituary of Jane I. Orem

Jane I. Orem, of Turnersville, New Jersey, previously of the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022.  She was 81.
 
Legacy
Born and raised in the Grays Ferry section of Philadelphia, Jane graduated from Bartram High School. Following High School; Jane worked as a life guard and swimming instructor at the Vare Pool for many years. She and her late husband Jim shared 54 years of marriage and raised four children before his passing in 2014.

Jane's greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the opportunity to be surrounded by her family. Jane had the "gift of gab" and was always at the heart of a good conversation. Summers along the shore; spending time poolside with her friends and shopping were some of Jane's favorite days. She was also an avid fan of the Mummers.
Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jane is the beloved wife of the late Jim Orem, Sr; cherished mother of Jane (Jim) Mulholland, Jim Orem, Jr., John (Maryangela) Orem & Donna-Jo Orem; loving grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 11; dear sister of the late Albert Wall, Jr.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jane's viewing after 11:00AM on Friday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. where her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to; Our House Ministries, 1441 S. 29th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.
