Obituary of Robert J. Doucette, Sr.

Robert J. Doucette, Sr.,  90, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 27, 2022.  
 
Legacy
Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where he met the love of his life, Frances Eleanor Chabza.  He received his BA in Banking & Finance from NYU and pursued a career in banking, working for First Peoples Bank in Woodbury and also Met-Life Insurance.  After his career in finance he, along with friends, owned & operated the Bull's Head Inn on Broad St. in Woodbury.  Soon after retiring, he became a professional driver for Mr. Reisman, of Reisman Pretzels, and truly enjoyed it. 
Robert loved spending time with his wife and family.  Numerous vacations were enjoyed over the years, especially summers spent at the Sea Isle shore.   He loved playing the slots with his wife and was a huge NY Mets & NY Giants fan.

Beloved husband of the late Frances Eleanor Doucette (Chabza); loving father of Robert Doucette Jr. (Maria Devery); Richard Doucette (Jean); Jacqueline Ciocco (Dave) and Steven Doucette; devoted grandfather of Colleen Doucette (Tyler), Emily Powers (Josh) & Richard Doucette (Lauren), Christine Frazeur (Oliver)  & David Ciocco; cherished brother of the late Arthur Doucette.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080 FRIDAY, February 4, 2022, from 10 am to 12 pm.  Funeral Service will begin at 12 pm.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
