Obituary of Rita F. Roser

Rita F. Roser (nee Dorn), 87, of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Legacy

Born in Gloucester City, New Jersey, Rita was a resident of Tarpon Springs, Florida since 1990. Rita earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education at St. Mary College. She devoted her life to her faith and became a nun and was a longtime elementary school teacher in the Camden Diocese. Later on after Rita had left the convent, she met Stan and they married in 1989. Together they moved to Forida and enjoyed cruising and the Sunshine State until Stanley passed in 2012. Rita was social butterfly and truly enjoyed being around people. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to have a good time. In her spare time, Rita also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and shuffleboard.

Family

Beloved wife of the late Stanley H. Roser, Sr.; loving stepmother of Scott (Ginny) Roser, Judith Finnan, the late Carol Nuss, and Stanley Roser Jr; devoted grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 11. Rita is predeceased by a sister and 2 brothers.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rita's Graveside Ceremony on Saturday, March 5, 2022, 10:00 AM at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to any Hospice Foundation of the donor's choice.
