Obituary of Hella McDevitt

Hella McDevitt (nee Arnold), 84,  formerly of Maple Shade, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022.  

 
Legacy
Born in Langanleiten, Germany, Hella arrived in Philadelphia in 1955 and spent 4 years there before moving to Maple Shade, New Jersey.  She worked at many places over the years including the Federal Mint, Zee Medical, Lieberman Enterprises, Woolworth and Mount Laure School System as a lunch lady.

A nurturing and thoughtful woman, Hella was devoted to her family and loved to have a good time.  She enjoyed spending time at Ocean City on the beach, trying her luck at the slots in Atlantic City and tailgating with family and friends before the Eagles games.  Hella also was an avid fan of the Phillies and the "clean cut" Yankees.  Hella will be truly missed by her loving family.

Beloved wife of 62 years to William F. McDevitt; loving mother of Michael (Laurel) McDevitt, Lisa (David) Becker and the late Debbie McDevitt; devoted grandmother of Chelsea, Courtney, David Jr. and Eric.
