Obituary of Marie R. Camilli

Marie R. Camilli (Trovato), a resident of Mantua, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.  She was 95.

Legacy
Marie Camilli was a “force of nature”, like a hurricane or tsunami-full of energy, unstoppable, unforgettable, a person to be reckoned with. She will be missed. Marie was kind, generous, frank and honest. Her greatest pride was her family, her home, and her table. It was her own kitchen that became the center of her universe. To share good food, a song, and good conversation with anyone and everyone was her goal. Marie loved being around family-feeding them, singing to them, telling life stories like you were right there with her, and boasting about the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a mother, a wife, a sister, a grandmother, a great grandmother, an aunt, a mentor, a counselor, a sage, and a friend. She was all these things to the people she met.

Family
She is the beloved Wife of the late Louis Camilli; devoted mother of Diane Palladino (Peter), Dr. Louis Camilli (Donna) and Dr. Joseph Camilli (Susan); sister to Rita Foti and the late Filomena DeVito, Vincent Trovato, Rose Lovre, Francis Trovato, Angelo Trovato and Ralph Trovato; loving grandmother to Peter Palladino (Kim), Nicholas Palladino (Devorah), Dante Camilli, Christen Camilli and Jenna Camilli (Maikel); great grandmother to Izabela Clara Marie Palladino and Sofia Marie Palladino.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, April 21st at 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Entombment will take place at Harleigh Cemetery, Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ.
