Obituary of Mary L. Gearhart
Mary L. (nee Cipoletti) Gearhart, 91, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
Legacy
Born in East Riverton, New Jersey, now known as Cinnaminson, Mary was a resident there until she moved to West Deptford in 1965 and lived in the same home until her passing. Prior to retiring, Mary worked at JC Penney and was a cook at the Chestnut House in Westville.
A loving and compassionate lady, Mary was devoted to her family and her faith. She was a proud homemaker and took pride in her home and her flower gardens that she tended to. Everything had its place and that is how Mary liked it. She was the matriarch of her family and flourished in the role. Nothing brought Mary more joy than to have her family together whether it be for holiday gatherings or pool parties. She was the perfect hostess and her Italian traditional meals will be missed and were meant to feed everyone. Mary’s love for her family was second to none. For twenty years, Mary brought her son, Tom, lunch on Wednesdays. Some would call this smothering, but her family and friends knew that this was just the way Mary showed her boundless love.
Many more memories were made on the family’s many travels to California, Branson, Missouri, Myrtle Beach, Williamsburg and cruises. In her later years, Mary also enjoyed bird watching
