Obituary of David Earle Bingham
David Earle Bingham, 84, of Barnsboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
Legacy
Born and raised in Maple Shade, New Jersey, Dave lived in Collingswood and Pennsauken before settling in Barnsboro in 2015. Dave was a proud United States Army Veteran serving from 1960 -1963. Prior to retiring, Dave was a custodian for the Pennsauken Board of Education for over 30 years. He also worked at a clothing manufacturer, Packard Steel Mill and as a butcher.
Dave was devoted to his family and his faith. He believed in the value of a hard day’s work and this was a trait that his family recognized and made them very proud. Dave kept to himself and had a booming voice, but the spirit of a quiet soul. His beliefs were firm and he fought for them with passion. He was strong willed yet loving; even though you may not hear him say it often, you knew that he loved you by his actions. If you knew anything about Dave, you knew how much he loved to be outdoors. He loved to tend to his yard whether it just be to pull the weeds or to care for his flowers and vegetables. His wife, Shirley, affectionately called him the “frustrated farmer.
