Obituary of Norma A Entrekin

Norma A. Entrekin (nee Aukett), 94, of Oak Valley section of Deptford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022.  

Legacy
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Norma and her family moved to Oak Valley in 1961.  After high school Norma worked for Bell Telephone until she met the love of her life, Russell, married and started a family.  After the death of her husband Russell in 1984, Norma was the "candy lady" at Wanamakers in Deptford until she retired.

A loving, strong willed and independent lady, Norma was devoted to her family.  Nothing was more important than time spent with all of her loved ones.  Many memories have been made by attending and watching her favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies.  She was active in the Deptford Community and was a volunteer for the yearly election boards since 1968.

Beloved wife of the late Russell Entrekin; devoted mother of Russell (Sheila McGrath) Entrekin, Warren (Patricia) Entrekin, Norma (Charles) Pohle and the late Steven (Rita) and Andrew (Carla); loving grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of 2.  Norma is predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters.
