Obituary of Harry J Guim
Harry J. Guim, 80, of Sewell, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
Legacy
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Harry moved to Washington Township in 1979 with his wife, Shirley and raised their three children there. After high school, Harry served in the United States Army Reserves and entered the printing union. He was employed by the Beck Engraving Company as a printer and as a maintenance worker with the Courier Post. After retirement in 2007, Harry joined his son Timothy's company, PCH Technologies as a part time courier.
A true gentleman, Harry was devoted to his family and his faith. He was an active and well loved parishioner at Church of the Holy Family. His family always came first and many memories were made and will be treasured from their time spent at one his favorite spots, Wildwood. Harry enjoyed walking the boardwalk, sharing a meal at his favorite restaurant, Menz and listening to Jerry Blavat. A selfless man, Harry always put others need before his own and being as handy as he was, would always make himself available to help on a project.
The apple of his eye was his granddaughter, Catherine. Time spent babysitting and being her biggest fan while watching her on the volleyball court always brought a smile. Harry will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Family
Beloved husband of the late Shirley J. (nee Troxell); devoted father of Timothy (Kelly), Christopher and Daniel; cherished grandfather of Catherine Elizabeth "Cassie"; dear brother of Gilbert (Maureen) Guim and father in law of Elena.
