Obituary of Harriet Giffear

Harriet Giffear (nee Friedman), 80, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 21, 2022.

Legacy

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, super mommom, aunt, sister, and friend. Harriet loved to be around her family and friends, spending time in Wildwood and especially Sunday dinners with her family. She enjoyed traveling, baking and shopping. Harriet was a great listener and always saw the good in everyone.

Family

She is the beloved wife of 62 wonderful years to Mr. William R. Giffear Sr. Devoted mother of Mr. William R. Jr. (Sandra) and Dawn (Bobby). Treasured super mommom of Krystal, Dr. Kelly (Chris), and Billy. Adored great super mommom of Benjamin. Daughter of the late Helen and Herman Friedman. Dear sister of Stanley (Susan). She will be missed by friends, family and extended family.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, May 25th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Thursday, May 26th, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Twp. Location) 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at Eglington Cemetery Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-www.stjude.org.
