Obituary of Salvatore J. Finocchiaro, III

Salvatore J. Finocchiaro III, 30, a lifelong resident of Blackwood, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022.  

Legacy

He was a graduate of Highland High School, Class of 2011. Sal was a sports enthusiast. Growing up he loved playing baseball, basketball, and video games, as well as watching WWE. Sal’s Dad, Cousin Matt, and Ann were his biggest supporters, attending many of his games, especially the Wildwood Tournaments.  He loved all Philly Sports teams, but his #1 team was the Dallas Cowboys. One of the highlights of Sal’s life was when he was chosen to be a part of the Special Olympics softball team in Seattle, Washington where he met his all-time favorite D.J. “Marshmello” 

Sal also had a passion for music and dancing. He attended many concerts.  His favorite non-stop dance music was EDM.  Sal loved all animals, especially "Happy" the dog, who slept with Sal when visiting his Mom in Florida. He looked forward to haircuts with Aunt Carmel and Aunt Connie always dreamed of having a club night out with Sal, to learn the latest dance moves! 

He was a social butterfly with a heart of gold who was loved my all. 

Sal’s biggest love was being with his family and friends, in which he was always the life of the party! 

Family

He is the beloved son of Debra (Amanto) Villari (Lenny) and Salvatore J. Finocchiario Jr. (Ann), loving brother of Ashley (Andrew) Slifer, and step-brother of Dee and Serra; Uncle to Jaylynn, Destiny, Sianna and Nolan, boyfriend to Jessica Berle, cherished grandson of the late Michael & Mary (Leather) Amanto, Salvatore & Phyllis (Dimucci) Finocchiaro Sr.; nephew to Linda East (Jerry) Dawn (Don) Lippolis, Aggie Long, AnneMarie Korbel(Bob) Connie Dougherty (Bernie), Carmel Nefferdorf (Bruce).  Many great Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. 

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 12 PM to 3 PM.  The Funeral Service will begin at 3 PM.
