Mr. Fairchild was one of the sweetest characters I have ever meant. I was lucky enough to hear his stories when he was out in front of the building watching some baseball and looking at family pictures in his room. He told me of his time and India and the love for his wife. He even told me he almost had to fight for her because she was so smart and beautiful. One time his lovely daughter came in and took him on a special trip and when he came back he told me he was the luckiest father to have such wonderful children. I am sad to not have him around anymore but glad to know he is with his wife up in heaven. We will all miss him.
