Obituary of Kevin Patrick Archer
Kevin Patrick Archer, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was 67.
Legacy
Kevin proudly served our country in the US Navy and worked on the USS Rich as a boiler operator. After his service, he spent his 25 year career with the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard as a boiler plant operator, retiring from the Department of Defense. Towards the end of his career and then in retirement, he worked at the Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford. He truly loved his job and more importantly, he loved having the opportunity to make friends while serving the community.
Kevin spent his evenings going for walks along the Delaware River, enjoying all of the plants and wildlife. He was an avid fisherman, birdwatcher & a certified master gardener. He truly loved being busy and filling his time with points of interest. His favorite activity was spending time with his grandkids. They surely helped him stay “young at heart", as he loved learning what was "In" and popular. He loved keeping busy and enjoyed playing Minecraft, building birdhouses and remote control planes, and tinkering with his CB radio.
Family
He is the beloved father of Nicole Lasecki & her husband Adam; best pop-pop ever to Nicolina & Adam Lasecki; devoted brother to Christopher Archer, Kathleen Moravek (Leonard), Pegeen Ford, James Archer (Liz), Joseph Archer and the late Erin Archer; dear uncle to Colleen, June, Karson, April & Marie and is survived by many loving cousins, extended family and dear friends.
