Obituary of Robert T Tobin

Robert (Bob) T. Tobin, of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was 74.

Legacy

He was a Vietnam Army Veteran who served the United States from 1966 to 1969. He was a tractor-trailer driver for Pepsi from 1973 through 1989.

Family

Coach Bob was a soccer coach with Monroe Township Youth Soccer for over two decades from 1980. He also coached softball and baseball locally. Bob was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Football Fan. He watched all the games on the TV and was a season ticket holder for a decade when they were in Vet Stadium in Philadelphia, PA.

He is predeceased by his mother, Rosemarie Ryan (Tobin-Shultz), father, Anthony A. Tobin, and his brothers, Anthony A. Tobin Jr (Catherine Tobin) and William Ryan.

He is the beloved husband of 52 years to Ethel J. Tobin (Tolon) and the loving father of daughter Janice Sheppard (Steven Sheppard) and sons Robert T. Tobin, Jr (Tina Mader Tobin) and Anthony C. Tobin (Jill Hendrickson Tobin). Grandfather to James Mulford, Briana Tobin, Morgan Tobin (Antonio Hernandez), Justin Mulford, Robert T. Tobin III, Matthew Sheppard, Lauren Sheppard, Dante Tobin, and Lucas Tobin. Great Grandfather to Camila Hernandez-Tobin, Cecelia Hernandez-Tobin, and Anthony Hernandez.

He is “Uncle” Bob to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road.   Inurnment will follow at the Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Park, Williamstown, NJ.
