Obituary of Theresa Morris

Theresa  Morris (Walsh), of Pemberton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2022.  She was 79.
 
Legacy
Theresa was born and raised in North Philadelphia, and moved to Pennsauken, NJ .   She was a Registered Nurse and worked for Frankford Hospital and Girard Medical Center, as well as Kennedy Hospital in Stratford.  She received her nursing degree in 1964 from Misericordia College, York, PA and truly loved nursing, as helping people was innate for her.  She retired in 2013, after almost 50 years of service.   Beside being a nurse for her career, she was also the "Neighborhood Nurse".  Everyone came to Theresa for help, be it, taking out stitches or medical advice in general. 
She was a sweet, yet tough lady and her kids would call her "St. Theresa", as she had seen "It all" and was able to always keep her calm and delegate what needed to be done. 

Theresa was the "Family Glue" and was the true epicenter of her family.  Over the years, she was the one who solved problems and kept everyone together.

She is the beloved Wife of 49 years to the late George E. Morris; loving mother to Christopher Morris, George Morris (Jennifer), and Joseph Morris (Lara); devoted grandmother to Abigail, Grady, Jagger and Jethro;  cherished sister to Catherine Monahan (Jack), Mary Grace Erpel, Joseph Walsh (Janet) and Madeleine Wood (James) and Susanne Cleary (Francis).
