Obituary of Helen M. Viens

Helen Viens (nee Wacker), 92, of Clarksboro, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Helen was born in Woodbury. She was a long-time resident of Woodbury and other surrounding communities in Gloucester County.

 Legacy

 Helen was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She opened her arms to everyone she met and was passionate about her family and faith. She was an employee of the Woodbury High School and the National Bank of Gloucester County for many years but focused her life on raising her children and attending to matters involving her church community.

Family

Helen was the beloved wife of 66 years to Rene Viens who passed away in 2016. She was a devoted mother to Michael. Cathy and Mickey and grandmother to Jeffrey, Brian, Allison, Alex and Amanda and great grandmother to Riley, Jackson, Jonathan, and Alyssa. She was the daughter of George and Mary Wacker and sister to George, Dorothy, Donald, Raymond and Harry. She will be greatly missed by a multitude of extended relatives and friends.

Farewell Tribute

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend Helen’s viewing on Saturday, October 8, 2022,  9:30 -- 10:45 AM at The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, New Jersey where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro.
