Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Partin
Elizabeth Jane Partin, Of Washington Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. She was 83.
Legacy
Born and raised in Chester, PA; Betty Jane graduated from Ridley High School and earned her Associates Degree from Gloucester County Community College. Betty Jane worked as a Case Manager for Gloucester County Social Services for more than 30 years before her retirement in 2009. She was a member of the League of Women Voters and volunteered as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She will be remembered for her passion for equality for all . Betty Jane was extremely proud of her Irish heritage and loved doting on her four grandchildren who will cherish the memories that they made with her during her life.
Away from work, Betty Jane enjoyed the finer things in life including, Opera, Golf and the creative arts. She was an avid Phillies fan through the great and lean seasons and will be remembered as a joyful, kind woman who was always available to lend a hand.
Betty Jane shared many years of memories with her companion, Angelo DeFeo, whose motto together was "Carpe Diem" and with whom she enjoyed traveling and creating memories that will be cherished as her legacy.

Betty Jane was the daughter of the late Thomas Agnew and Alice (nee Coates) Agnew whom immigrated from Ireland & England; former wife of Donald W. Partin; beloved mother of Donna Partin ( Dwayne Keller), Linda Hosford (Matthew) and Derek Partin; loving grandmother of Devon (Evan) Goodell, Drew Keller, Demi Keller & Matthew Hosford; cherished companion of Angelo DeFeo; dear sister of the late Denny & Raymond Agnew.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Betty Jane's visitation Sunday, October 23, 2022 after 11:30AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. where her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1 PM.
