Obituary of Ronald J Nace
Ronald J. Nace, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2022. He was 81.
Legacy
Ron was a proud Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam and over the years has been a dedicated member of the Williamstown VFW Post#1616 and also the American Legion 252. After serving in the Army, Ron became a plumber and started his own business, "Ronald J. Nace Plumbing and Heating". He ran a successful business for many years and eventually passed it along to his "Chosen son" Jimmy.
Ronnie met the love of his life "Betty Lou" while in the Army, in Colorado. Over the years Ronnie and Betty Lou loved visiting her hometown and spending time with her family back in Colorado. Family & friends will remember how Ron truly enjoyed his Crown Royal with one ice cube, his signature drink. In his spare time, he went fishing and played golf.
Family
He is the beloved husband of 55 years to Betty Lou (Brito), loving son of the late Raymond Brown, Sr. and Marie (Minnick); dear brother of Pat Carino (Eddie), Albert Nace (June), Raymond Brown (Eve) and the late Joan Brown; Ron leaves behind his "Chosen Son", Jimmy Nolan (Allyson) and their children Kevin, Anthony and the late Shawn; He was the best uncle to Sandy Walton (Jim), Cindy Moriarity (John), Billy Brown, Nicole Harper and the late Lynn Delorenzo (John). Also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ron leaves behind many special friends, including Judy (Joe) Kennedy, Dr. Mike (Beverly) Borjski, Carolyn & Tom Pogo, Marie and the late Bob Holshue, David Rosen and the late Ingi and also many friends at the VFW 1616 & American Legion #252.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 10:30 at the Mary Mother of Mercy Church, 161 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ. Interment will follow at the Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital & VFW Post 1616, 1940 N. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
