Obituary of Julia Anna Contarino

Julia Anna Contarino (nee Mauro), 91, formerly of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022. 

Legacy

Born in West Chester, New York, Julia was a lifelong resident Woodbury Heights, New Jersey and parishioner of Infant Jesus Parish.  Julia was a former employee of the Railroad Station and with her outgoing personality, Julia loved to work with the customers and made many friends.

A strong willed, yet friendly lady, Julia always had a gentle way of telling you the way it was.  She kept her home immaculate, loved to cook and enjoyed her afternoon tea.  She had a weekly date with her wonderful neighbors of Saturday 4 PM Mass and dinner after.  Barb, Greg and their children, especially Kevin, welcomed Julia at their dinner table and holiday gatherings.  Many fond memories were made and Julia will be sadly missed.

Family

Beloved Wife of the late Vincent Contarino; mother of Doreen Brandreth; grandmother of Eric, Ryan, Shannon and great grandmother of Allison,  Caylee, Luke and Chloe.  Julia is also survived by her caregivers and neighbors, Barb and Greg Haines and their children, Greg, Jr. (Kelsey), Rachel (Conor) and Kevin.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Julia’s Graveside Ceremony on Thursday, 1:30 PM at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, New Jersey.
