Obituary of June Townsend

June Townsend (Ferko), of Williamstown, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was 84 Years old.  

Legacy

June worked fo the Federal Government in Philadelphia as a secretary, and as well, had a very interesting job working for Channel 6 TV Station in Philadelphia.  Her job was working for a famous local children's TV host, Gene London.  While working there she tended to all of his fan mail, and enjoyed every bit of it!

In retirement, June loved to spend time with her many friends, neighbors and family.  She had a love of quilting with a group of ladies and friends.  She certainly loved spending time "Doing" yard sales and volunteering at her church.   Many will remember her for owning her antique business at the Estate Shoppe in Franklinville, NJ. 

She was a log time member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Turnersville, and also attended the Sicklerville United Methodist church.  

Family

Loving mother to James "Jimmy" Townsend, of Texas and also the late Andrew Townsend; cherished grandmom "Nana" to Montana and Connor Townsend;  June leaves behind her dear sister Clara Fidler, of Florida and her nieces: Nancy, Janice and many other family and friends, especially her dear friend Gail, who was by her side almost every blessed day.   

Farewell Service

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 12 PM at the St. John's Methodist Cemetery, Greentree Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012.  Family and friends will gather at the cemetery.
