It was my pleasure knowing Steve as my next-door neighbor and my honor to call him a friend. I'll always fondly recall our many conversations about backyard projects and crops growing in his garden (which he was very proud of), or just exchanging life stories. No one could tell a story as colorfully, or with as much passion, as Steve. His sayings and expressions will live on in my memory - and my conversations. My deepest sympathies to Paulette, and his family. May fond memories bring some measure of comfort during your grief.

You and Paulette have been such good neighbors and friends these last 30 years. When Chris was home on hospice, you would come over and just sat quietly with him. The first to offer a ride, a push or a jump whenever a car let us down. Your passing is such a shock. I will never forget your strength, loyalty and that BIG voice shouting for the dogs!
