Obituary of Ruth Ann Hoolahan

Ruth Hoolahan, a resident of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was 76.

Legacy

Ruth was proud to be a teacher. She taught at Tri-County Head Start in Pitman, Glassboro, and Deptford. She taught preschoolers and any child who may have needed a hand. Ruth was also known for her love of bingo, bowling, and her favorite, game shows. She had a love for sewing and babysitting many children over the years. She was a good friend to all who knew her and loved very deeply.

Family

She is the beloved wife of the late Francis; devoted mother of Kathleen Huber (Wayne), Amanda Panikowski (Michael) Donna Camp (Roy) Dianne Hills, Norman Riggins (Barbara), and the late Arthur Riggins (Joanne). She is also survived by many grandchildren; Christopher, Jackie, Carly, Evan, Chrissy, Laura, Matthew, Regina, Randy, and Michelle. Ruth is also survived by her great grandchildren; Aaden, Emma, Madison, Adriana, William, Brook, Derek, Kaydence, Chloe, and Wesley.

Celebration of life

Family & friends are invited to celebrate Ruth’s life on February 4, 2023 at the Pitman VFW (142 Oakcrest Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071), beginning at 3 PM.
