Obituary of Laura Ann Charboneau
Laura Ann Charboneau, (nee Hoelbinger) of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. She was 55.
Legacy
Laura was a daughter, sister, wife, and most importantly a mother. She loved her two children, Rebecca and Matthew. She was a nurse for over 30 years. She worked at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, NJ. She also was the Assistant Dean of Nursing at Rowan College of NJ, now RCSJ. She finished her nursing career at Johnson Matthey in West Deptford, NJ. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing later in life. Being a nurse, she always cared for people her whole life. She put others first. She loved the beach, her pool, drinking coffee and having a glass of wine. If you ever saw Laura, her hair was always perfect and her toes always painted. She would always say she was treating herself when she was getting her toes done. This was her way of having some alone time. Her smile was contagious. Her love for her family and friends was never ending. Laura had a sense of humor that was subtle and dry. She was famous for giving people nicknames, whether they knew about the nicknames or not. She had a great sense of style and her decorating for the holidays was perfect. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She had a board at her jobs where she would write down how many days it was until Christmas. I am sure this annoyed people but she didn’t care. Laura battled breast cancer for almost 14 years. She fought so hard for her family and herself. During all of these years, she still managed to attend every game, important life event, and do everything a mother and wife would do. She was courageous in this battle and if you were around her over the last decade, you saw this on a daily basis. We are thankful to all of the doctors and nurses that helped Laura during her battle. She was just tired. Her spirit was fighting but her body just couldn’t fight anymore. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Jefferson Hospital in Washington Twp. The doctors and nurses were so great and did everything they could for Laura. There is a link provided below.
